Since Colombia has coastlines with two Oceans, there are great posibilities for scuba diving. The waters of the Pacific are less clear than those of the Carribean and the variety of aquatic life is entirely different. The best places for scuba diving in the Pacific are Gorgona, Malpelo, Bahía Solano and Nuquí. In the Carribean the diving destinations are Parque Tayrona in Santa Marta, Islas del Rosario in Cartagena and San Andrés and Providencia.

Most Colombians are keen sports fans and it is rare to find a sport that is not practised here.
